The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sept Etoiles (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
014F Most Stylish Racegoers H'cap H'dleA. Harvey, rider of Shinnhill, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller at the third last hurdle.
014G SIS Supporting Irish Racing Hunters S'chThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend after the finish on the first circuit involving Bartlemy Boy (GB), ridden by Mr Alan O'Sullivan, Willitgoahead, ridden by Mr J.H. Williamson, and Bold Fury, ridden by Mr T.C. Kileff where it appeared Willitgoahead ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. J.H. Williamson stated that he went for a gap that closed as he got there and he caught a heel. Mr. Alan O'Sullivan stated that he was outside Bold Fury and kept his line. Mr. T.C. Kileff stated that his horse rolled onto the rail as they rounded the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any individual rider and took no further action other than to remind all the riders to ride with more awareness in future.
